Heart Anatomy
The heart weighs about 350 to 450 grams in an average adult. It pumps about 80 cc of blood per heart beat. At average heart beat of 70 per minute, in a day, the heart would have pumped 8 thousand liters of blood around the body.It is on automatic. Via specialised group of cells, the heart has a natural pacemaker that will regulate the heart rate. Some specialised muscle cells act as a conducting pathway, much like electrical circuit. Signals from the pacemaker is transmitted to heart muscle in orderly fashioned. Cardiac valves separate the various chambers and great blood vessels. Acting like a door, it allows blood flow only in one direction. There are four valves in a normal heart.

We must face the realities of Malaysian sports
IN a year when the best thing in national sports was the unveiling of the tiger-striped national jersey, the national badminton team, I feel, did reasonably well in its Thomas Cup campaign just ended, despite losing to Denmark in the semi-finals.However, I may be in the minority. Following the defeat, many lamented our failure yet again to end the losing streak in the quest for badminton’s most coveted prize. It’s true, losing is bad for the ulcers. But no matter how good a team may be, there could always be another team that is better, or that on any given day even the best team could lose.We were not the best team in the tournament, but we did have a realistic chance of winning the Cup, if reports and rankings of our shuttlers were to be believed.
Doctor of Medicine
According to Sir John Bagot Glubb, Syed Farid Alatas, and S. M. Imamuddin, the first medical schools to issue academic degrees and diplomas were the teaching Bimaristan (Hospitals)of the medieval Islamic world. The first of these institutions was opened in Baghdad during the time of Harun al-Rashid. They then appeared in Egypt from 872 and then in Islamic Spain, Persia and the Maghreb thereafter. Physicians and surgeons at these hospital-universities gave lectures on Islamic medicine to medical students and then a medical diploma or degree was issued to students who were qualified to be practicing physicians.[2][3][4]According to Douglas Guthrie,[5] who bases his account on L Thorndike,[6] medical men were first called "Doctor" at the Medical School of Salerno. He states that the Emperor Frederick II decreed in 1221 that no one should practice medicine until he had been publicly examined and approved by the masters of Salerno. The course lasted 5 years, and to start one had to be 21 years old and show proof of legitimacy and of three years study of logic. The course was followed by a year of supervised practice. After the laureation ceremony the practitioners could call themselves "magister" or "doctor."

Football Associaton of Malaysia
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) is the governing body for soccer in Malaysia, responsible for organising the Malaysian national football team and the major soccer tournaments within the country. Football arrived in Malaya with the British. The locals soon picked up the game, and before long it was the country's leading sport. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, football was one of the central pillars of most sports clubs in Malaya. But it was not structured. Even when the Selangor Amateur Football League took shape in 1905 – which ensured proper administration and organisation – the competition was confined only to clubs in the Kuala Lumpur area.
